+ What are the costs Associated with renting A Storage Container?
Advanced Mobile Storage, INC prides itself on transparency and not having any hidden charges. No rental contracts ever, you will be charged the rental rate (30 days billing cycle), delivery charge, pickup charge, tax and damage waiver. We do not charge personal property tax, fuel surcharges, and administrative fees and we do not add extra days on the end of your rental term.
+ What materials CANNOT be stored in a Storage Container?
Containers are great for storing most items there are some things that are not allowed to be stored inside of a container. We do not recommend storing candles, types of photos if you are storing over the summer. Advanced Mobile Storage, INC does not allow illegal, toxic, waste, hazardous, contaminated, controlled, restricted, explosive, flammable, chemical, paint, heirlooms, irreplaceable items, antiques or inherently dangerous materials of any kind to be stored in our containers. In addition, do not lock anyone or any living thing inside the container. + Who is responsible for any tickets and/or fines?
You are responsible for any tickets or fines associated with storing the container(s) at your location. It is always best to check with your landlord or home owners association for approval prior to taking delivery of the unit.
+ How can I make a payment and what forms of payment do you accept?
Advanced Mobile Storage, INC accepts major credit and debit card. Payments can be made over the phone, directly from your invoice sent via email, or in person. For other forms of payment, contact your local office for information. A convenience fee will be added if you need to have your invoice mailed to you.
+ What day is my storage rent due?
Advanced Mobile Storage, INC rent is due every month on the date your container is delivered until you are finished with your storage.
+ Will a container do any damage to my property?
Our friendly, professional drivers and staff do our best to place our containers with the utmost care to avoid any damage to your property. However, if you want your container placed in an unpaved area, there is the possibility of damage. In addition, we request plywood be placed down if you will be placing your unit on new asphalt or residential driveways to avoid damage to the ground.
