Advanced Mobile Storage, Inc. offers door to door rental storage containers at your location or interim storage in our secure facility. We can move or relocate 20' ISO steel storage containers loaded with our Swingthru up to 26 tons. We provide steel storage containers to your site or home for your portable storage container needs.  Advanced Mobile Storage, Inc. has been providing quality steel shipping containers for many years with a wide selection of products and services to choose from. We store 10', 15', 20' and 40' containers in our secure yard with limited access entry. It is our utmost importance that your property is secure and safe while in storage. All of our rental containers have three locking systems (See images below #1-#4): This unit shows all 3 locking systems. Cam Levers on each door, minimum 1 cam lever per door. Some may have 2 cam levers per door, which would be a total of 4 areas to place locks. Lock Box that requires a round Disc Lock Heavy Duty Slide Bolt with round Puck Lock #1 #2 #3 #4 These are available for rent or purchase.

• We load 20’ units from ground level and keep level from either side with our Swingthru technology

RATES/PRICING

• One month minimum, no long term contracts
• We bill for a full month, not 28 days. Industry standard is 28 days cycle, which equals to a 13th bill each year
• We bill for the 1st month rent, initial delivery and final pick up on first invoice
• Each time the unit is moved, there is a delivery charge (in cases where you need interim storage and its moved back to our facility)
• Delivery charge is based on distance/mileage and whether the container is loaded or empty

MOVING/PACKING TIPS

• Your packing experience will be made easier with the proper supplies on hand. You will want boxes, furniture pads or blankets, specialty boxes for things like mirrors, and delicate items, sealing tape, markers and inventory lists will make packing your storage container easier.
• Heavy items should be placed in the bottom of the mobile storage container.
• Furniture should be covered with padding.
• Distribute weight as evenly as possible throughout the mobile storage container.
• Place mattresses and box springs in protective bags.
• Pack items as tightly as possible to avoid load shift.
• Boxes should be of the proper size and should be filled to the top.
• If the mobile storage container is not completely full arrange boxes to avoid load shift or falling.
• Pack items you will need on a regular basis or first in the front of the container
• Place large items in the center.
• Use towels, pillows, blankets to pad breakable/delicate items
• Place heavy items like books in smaller boxes, big boxes for lighter items.
• Wrap lightbulbs and put in box with lamp or shade.
• Tape hardware in plastic bag or securely tape the items to any pieces you need to reassemble.
• Keep an inventory of items packed.
• Many sofas/couches can be stored on one end and vertical to pack items more efficiently
• Place delicate items/breakables in a dish-pack type of box and wrap each piece separately.
• Stack dishes on their sides and glassware upright.
• Clean and drain all appliances. Tape down moving parts. Try to leave the door ajar.
• Place mirrors and pictures in boxes and do not lay flat in the mobile storage container.
• Pack clothing in wardrobe boxes.
• Pack one room at a time, it helps keep you more organized.
• Label the boxes by room and number the boxes. For example, 1 of 10, 2 of 10, etc.
• Empty fuel from machines to be moved (lawnmowers, barbeques, trimmers, etc.)

Safety Considerations

• Bend at the knees not the waist when lifting. Get a firm grip and hold items close to your body.
• Do not store perishable items like food, liquids, flammables, or hazardous materials.
• Do not let children play in, on, or around the mobile storage container.
• Keep the door closed and locked when not loading the mobile storage container.
